Helping Ginge

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lisa, and I am fundraising for my Uncle Ian Rogers. Many of you will know him as Ginge, the happy local taxi man that has served his local community for the past 35 years. I am reaching out for any help to support my Uncle on his long road to recovery. Ensuring that he will have the equipment and support to return home safely and relieve some of the financial stresses.

Sadly on the 16th of April, he was suddenly taken ill while on his way to Heathrow airport. With a quick response from his customer, he was taken to Ipswich Hospital. Ginge had to be transferred to Adenbrokes hospital for specialist surgery due to an aneurysm under his brain. He remains in hospital with cognitive and mobility issues. The doctors have told his Daughter Kelsey that he will not be able to drive for at least a year, and that is if he can make a full recovery.

Being a taxi driver is all he knows and loves, and we hope that he can recover fully to continue to do this. If anyone feels they can help, I know Ginge and his family will be forever grateful.
