Bonnie will be joining our family (along with Barley) in October after being rescued from the streets of Egypt.

Funding is secure for Barley but the rescue have offered to raise the money for Bonnie to come to the UK to start her new life and seen as she is coming to us - anything we can do can only help.

Bonnie was rescued off the streets after being dumped on the side of the road and being the loving retriever she is, she waited to be picked back up by the same people who dumped her.

She had fur loss, fleas and ticks and was in a bad way. She hadn't been fed as she was extremely thin and was sheltering to keep safe. She has been with the rescue and seen by the vet since she got picked up and has been given the all clear to fly at the end of October to the UK.

This just shouldn’t be happening in 2025 in any country - we now have the space to offer Bonnie a new life away from cruelty and neglect so we are asking you to help us help the rescue (four paws one heart) by donating even just £1.

The rescue runs solely off donations and the money raised from this go fund me will go straight to the rescue to pay for Bonnie’s boarding, vets bills and flight to the UK where we will then arrange ongoing travel to get them both to us.

If anyone is in a position to also adopt please take a look at the rescue, the work they do for these animals is unbelievable and Georgia funds a lot of it herself.

Bonnie and Barley will feature on our website and social media accounts once they arrive as we know everyone loves to see a dog story and they will join our old rescue Lucas who came from Spain over 10 years ago.
