Helping Gemma Through Her Battle with Cancer
Donation protected
Dear friends and loved ones,
It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to ask for your support for my best friend, Gemma. Recently, she received the devastating news that she has been diagnosed with advanced colon cancer. At such a young age, Gemma never imagined her life would take such a turn, but now she is facing several months of intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
As part of her treatment, Gemma will experience significant physical and emotional side effects. One of the most difficult aspects of her treatment will be the hair loss, and I want to ensure she has access to a beautiful wig that will help her feel confident and beautiful during this time.
Beyond the emotional toll of her diagnosis, Gemma is also looking into fertility treatment. The cancer and its treatments also impact her fertility, and she wants to explore options to preserve her chances of having children in the future. Fertility treatments are costly, and Gemma will need all the help she can get to cover both her wig and fertility treatment expenses.
On top of all of this, Gemma is self-employed and doesn’t have access to paid sick leave. She is facing a lengthy period of time away from work as she focuses on her health, which will add a significant financial strain.
Every donation, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word and show Gemma the love and support she so greatly needs during this time.
Gemma is a fighter, and we know she will face this battle with the same strength, grace, and resilience that she brings to every part of her life. Let’s come together to support her through this difficult journey and show her that she is not alone.
Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. Your support means the world to Gemma and to everyone who loves her. x
