Hello, my name is Kari. I came across Gayle on Facebook about 7 weeks ago. She posted she needed help, her cries broke my heart, and I reached out. Her story is heartbreaking. She is 79 years old and has been a caretaker her entire life, primarily dedicated to those with Autism. Her health is failing, she can barely walk, yet gets herself to work 3 nights a week, a trooper.

Her rent was raised $700 last year; she had some help from her family but now has no other resources to help her. She is broken and scared, I fear for her emotionally, she is exhausted from the stress. She has diabetes and is very tired, constantly crying, feeling like a burden.

We are trying to get her a couple of months of help while also figuring out a long-term solution. We are looking at roommates, hoping to find someone close to her age, she also needs some companionship. She is smart as a whip, she has a strong desire to keep on going because she loves her animals and grandchildren that keep motivated.
