Helping Free Roaming Dogs in India

Hello, my name is Mark from Liverpool. I'm a lover of the outdoors, keeping fit and dogs. I walk for miles everyday with my dog, Sky and love spending time with her.

Recently, I’ve been accepted to participate in an amazing international programme with Goa Dog Foundation, to help with the over populated free roaming dogs in Goa, India and to participate in feeding the free roaming animals. I’m reaching out to raise funds and awareness for this incredible cause. In January 2025 I will be participating in a programme for two weeks. I will be flying out to India and with a small team of volunteers to make a big difference to animals in need.

Goa Dog Foundation is dedicated to Animal Welfare, Animal Birth Control, and Education. Every penny raised will go directly to GDF and will be used for flights, vaccinations and accommodation, if there are any funds over these will be used towards puppy vaccinations. GDF also operate a feeding programme for free roaming dogs, which I will be helping with. GDF started in 2017 and work tirelessly to make a difference to every animal's life that come into their care. You must check-out their socials!

I plan to use my love for the outdoors to fuel my fundraising efforts, walking and trekking to raise vital funds. Your generous donations will go a long way in improving the lives of these animals in need and will raise awareness for GDF. I will be working as part of a team to catch dogs for birth control and help with coordinating a puppy vaccination programme, puppy adoption camp and feeding dogs and cats on the streets.
