Friends, Family & Other Compassionate People. I’m Truly, from Truly’s Rescues. We have been rescuing many cats, and a few dogs along the way, for nearly 20 years. Most of them have Special Needs & we provide the specific care they need.

Very recently, our almost 1-year-old kitten Frankie (nearly all black with two white whiskers on one side) was diagnosed with Stomatitis, a fairly rare young cat’s Autoimmune Disease. His body is attacking & rejecting his own teeth.

Frankie has inflamed, bright red, & bleeding gums. It is an extremely painful condition for him, causing him not to eat very much at once. Left untreated, he would eventually eat less and less.

The best chance he has for this disease to go dormant is for him to have all of his teeth removed, including the roots and all tooth material.

This is a major surgery & our vet clinic at Town & Country Animal Clinic has estimated the cost of his surgery at $1,300. The date set for the surgery is April 29th & is coming up very fast!

Meanwhile, Abby, our beautiful 13-year-old tortie, who has always suffered from Pancreatitis, is in need of dental surgery too. Extractions are expected as her teeth in the back are crumbling and it’s very painful for her to eat. As a result, she does not eat much.

Abby’s surgery is scheduled for July 2nd, and Town & Country Animal Clinic has estimated the cost of her surgery at $1,000.

This is where we get the total funds of $2,300 needed to help our sick babies.

It is a lot all at once, especially considering many other sudden expenses that have come up since January, & continuing at least through the rest of this year.

Those that know us best know that I have been on Disability for about 15 years, and that my husband works very hard, long hours at a low-paying job.

But we are loving, kind, & genuinely compassionate people whose passion in our lives has always been about animals and taking the time and energy to love, care & help them! We strongly believe they deserve it.

We hope you might help, as any increment from each of several people would be so extremely appreciated. Any amount from each individual adds up & brings us closer to our goals of helping sweet Frankie & darling Abby.
