Helping Derek Fenimore

On January 8th, our good friend Derek was enjoying a deep powder day with friends. After a few quick runs, they worked their way down from the upper mountain. During this run, Derek blindly came upon a large cliff, sending him into a tree more than 60 feet below. Upon impact, he broke his board, broke both legs, suffering double compound fractures on the right leg, and a tibia and fibula  fracture on the left leg, as if that’s not bad enough he broke his ulna bone(fore arm bone), and suffered a bone deep gash to his chin/ neck. 

We are happy to say he is expected to make a full recovery.  We are looking to raise money to help with the financial burden brought on by the accident. Between medical bills, medical equipment rentals, loss of wages, and expenses that insurance doesn't cove, cost of snowboard equipment(broken board, cut off  pants and boots).  Thank you for your help.
