Who We Are
Little Piggy & Me a 501(c)(3) organization was created from love, loss, and the desire to turn unimaginable heartbreak into something meaningful that can help other families.
Our nonprofit was founded in memory of my beloved son, Enrique Espinoza, who tragically lost his life on February 10, 2023, when a drunk driver struck his vehicle head-on. Enrique had a bright future ahead of him, filled with dreams, purpose, and so much life left to live. His loss has left a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.
The name Little Piggy & Me comes from a special piggy I gave Enrique when he was a small child. It was something that symbolized comfort, innocence, and the deep bond between a mother and her son. Today, that little piggy represents the love that continues even after loss, and it has become the inspiration behind this mission.
Our Mission
Little Piggy & Me was created to honor Enrique’s life while helping families who are experiencing the devastating loss of a loved one due to impaired driving. Our mission is to provide compassion, resources, and support to families during one of the most painful moments of their lives while also raising awareness about the life-altering consequences of drunk driving.
No family should have to face this kind of tragedy alone.
How We Help Families
Through Little Piggy & Me, we aim to provide direct support to families navigating sudden and tragic loss. Our services will include:
• Funeral coordination assistance to help families manage arrangements during overwhelming moments
• Financial support for funeral expenses for families facing unexpected costs
• Grief counseling resources and support for parents, siblings, and loved ones coping with loss
• Community awareness and prevention initiatives focused on the dangers of impaired driving
These services are designed to help ease the burden on grieving families so they can focus on honoring their loved one and beginning the healing process.
