As many of you know, I lost my beautiful daughter Zara last year. There aren’t really words that ever make that make sense, but I wanted to do something in her honour that could help other families in even the smallest way.

I’m raising money to donate a Cuddle Cot to a hospital. If we hadn’t had access to one, we wouldn’t have been able to spend those precious four days with Zara. It gave us time to hold her, to sit with her, to make memories we will carry with us forever. In the middle of everything falling apart, that time meant absolutely everything.

In September, during the week that would have been Zara’s 1st birthday, I’ll be taking on the UK Three Peaks Challenge.

A Cuddle Cot costs £1,440, and my goal is to raise enough to provide at least one, so another family can have the same time with their baby that we were given. Time to say hello, time to say goodbye, and time that can never be replaced.
