Hi everyone, my name is Carli, and I'm from Toronto, Canada. I'm reaching out for your support in helping some of my dear friends who have been devastated by the recent hurricane that struck Jamaica.

Jamaica has always been like a second home to me. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to travel and see the beauty that Jamaica has to offer, as well as meet some of the kindest, most genuine people. These people always welcomed me with open arms and treated me like family. Sadly, many of them have just lost everything.

Recently, Jamaica was struck by one of the most powerful Category 5 hurricanes recorded in the Atlantic. Entire communities have been destroyed — homes, belongings, and places that held so many memories are now gone. A few people, especially close to my heart, Cadiesha and her six-year-old son, as well as a few of our other dear friends, are among those who have lost their homes and almost everything they have.

I created this GoFundMe to help them rebuild their lives and regain a sense of stability. All funds raised here will go directly to them, allowing them to use the money in the ways they need most, such as rebuilding their homes, replacing belongings, as they begin to recover and rebuild after this devastating hurricane.
