Ts Magic Leaf is raising $10,000 in Q1 to provide emergency relief for NY/NJ A.L.I.C.E. families — the hardworking people who keep our city running but still can’t afford the basics.

A.L.I.C.E. stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. These are parents, caregivers, and workers juggling multiple jobs who often don’t qualify for traditional assistance, yet still face urgent needs like rent gaps, utility shut-off notices, grocery shortages, and medical bills.

What your donation can provide (small amounts, big impact)

$5 helps cover a small essential in a pinch (soap, toothpaste, school supplies, pantry staples)

$10 helps with groceries/essentials for the week (bread, produce, toiletries)

$20 helps cover household basics like diapers, wipes, hygiene items, or cleaning supplies

$25 helps provide a fuller essentials bundle (groceries + toiletries)

$50 helps with utilities support or transportation to work/medical appointments

$75 helps cover multiple urgent needs at once (ex: groceries + transit + essentials)

$100 helps prevent shut-offs, cover a critical bill gap, or provide meaningful short-term relief depending on the need and available funds

To protect families and ensure funds are used responsibly, assistance will be distributed through:

Trusted nonprofit partners and community organizations, and/or

Direct relief to individuals/families when appropriate, with basic verification

We will share updates on funds raised, how many people were supported, and what categories of needs were covered (without ever sharing identities).
