Helping Fabiola Minda
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Olivia Johnson and I have a passion for helping dogs. I am a 15-year-old girl who grew up in Ecuador and would always pass by many stray dogs begging for food around the streets. This would bring tears to my eyes so I decided that I wanted to help the stray dogs as much as I could. In 2018, I raised $1,000 in total and all proceeds went to helping Fabiola Minda provide for all the dogs she has rescued. Fabiola Minda is a fabulous Ecuadorian woman who devotes her life to helping as many stray dogs as she can. She is the founder of Rescate Animal Mompiche and has been working on helping animals since the twentieth century. She lives in Mompiche, Ecuador with over forty dogs and a total of over eighty animals. Sadly, a few months after I visited Fabiola to donate food and medicine for her animals, her house was destroyed by the high tides of the beaches of Mompiche. CAEMBA, a foundation located in Santo Domingo, Ecuador, which builds houses out of bamboo for people who have been affected by natural disasters, has been working hard on collecting money to build Fabiola and her animals a new home. With this money, all the proceeds will go to helping the build of her new home and be able to feed her animals and give them the medication they need. The food and medications will be personally donated by me, Olivia Johnson, anywhere from the 1st to the 13th of July of 2022.
Below are pictures of me delivering the dog food with my mom in her previous home in 2018 and a few pictures of the dogs that resided in her home along with Fabiola Minda holding one of them.
