Eryn is an amazing person, she’s a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mom, a nurse, and one of the kindest human beings.

Eryn was recently diagnosed with a rare form of stage 3 ovarian cancer, specifically known as low grade papillary serous carcinoma, at the age of 32. Her cancer is resistant to chemotherapy so local specialists have referred her to MD Anderson to try to develop a plan of action.

Eryn has always been an overachiever so of course she would get one of the rarest forms of ovarian cancer ‍♀️ but if anyone can do it, she can fight this!

Surgery is extremely likely, therefore Eryn and her family are going to need help during this time as they try to navigate what their new normal. Assuming Eryn will not be able to work during treatment they will be down to one income in their household.

Eryn and her husband Jared have a one year old son, who just recently began to say “mama”. No one should have to be in this position, but Eryn is so young and Brooks needs his mama ❤️

I wanted to start this to help support Eryn in any way we can, or help offset the stress of having to take time off to care for herself.

No one will ever prepare you to hear those words. Especially not at 32 with a one year at home who is just starting to say “mama”. The days ahead are very questionable for me. The type of cancer I have is resistant to chemo so I am heading to MD Anderson next week for a second opinion. I don’t share much on Facebook but I just want everyone to please don’t take your health for granted…ever. Even when life is hard it can be beautiful.

P.s. for all of those who have stepped foreward for our family in the past few weeks/month, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. I have never felt so loved.
