We are raising funds to support our friend Erin after the devastating loss of her beloved companion, Boone, on December 23.

In the days leading up to Christmas, Boone, Erin’s five-year-old Swiss Mountain Dog and Poodle mix, was in severe and unexplained pain. Erin rushed him between multiple veterinary clinics, urgently searching for answers and treatment.

An X-ray revealed a serious intestinal blockage that required emergency surgery. The cost was high, but the surgery was necessary and the outlook for recovery was strong. Erin brought Boone home afterward, settled him in comfortably, and stayed close to monitor him.

That evening, without warning, Boone passed away. Erin was by his side for his last moments, as she had been every day of his life.
