Hi my name is Amanda Mirelez. I am starting up this page for my sister Erika De Jesus Juarez. “Eri” to some.
Erika 30, a graduate of James Hedges elementary school. Erika was a longtime resident of Lansing, IL., where she died after contracting the coronavirus. She is survived by her parents Deena and Adan Renteria, her sister, Amanda Mirelez, her brothers Adan and Pablo Juarez(Monica) her nieces Joleena NoAleena, and Elise, and her Nephew Noah, as well as her late brother Victor Lusinski.
She lived a full and extraordinary life. She was a strong and optimistic young woman and was an inspiration to everyone who had the opportunity to know her. She was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly. She had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul.
Most of all she loved and adored children, especially her nieces and nephew, they were her world. If you were lucky enough to be present when she gazed into a child’s face, the pure joy radiating from her would blind you. Erika wanted nothing more for them than to have a wonderful life.
In her memory, please wear a mask in public and take Covid-19 seriously. It is real; it hastened her death.”
She set an example of courage and compassion that encouraged everyone who knew her. God Speed, Erika – Heaven only knows what’s in store for you next!
