Hello, my name is Ron. For the past four years, I have been following a small Christian church and orphanage located in the heart of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. I have seen first hand God's work being done in this small community, all while under a constant threat of persecution. This local church does daily prayer meetings and focuses on reaching the community through the words of Jesus. Their missions take them deep into the brick factories of Pakistan, where children are forced to work to pay off family debts—a lifelong debt that never gets paid off. Most of these children do not get an education. Their lives are enslaved to these brick kilns. Mud for bricks, drinking water off the ground, and poisonous air from the brick kilns is the only life they know. A lot of them do not live to make it to adulthood. The Christian church reaches out to these places to educate the children, bringing the word of God to the children. Food, clean drinking water, and the message of Jesus brings joy and peace and love to everyone who hears.. All of this can only be done by people like you and me who are brave enough to reach out and donate. There is no economic solution in a place where there is little to no economy. It is a daily struggle of survival for people to stand in food lines not knowing if there is enough to feed everyone. And its not really a line, Its a push and shove match that could end in death, and has ended in death for some of my personal friends. So I know this is real. Without us, there is no way to spread the message of Jesus in a place that definitely needs it. Spreading the word of Jesus can go so far in this region with only a small donation of 5 or 10 dollars.
To donate to a charity means that your money will have to go to a nonprofit company in the United States. That company then removes its operating cost from your donation. It is put into a lump donation with others and possibly sent to a charity case that you did not intend it for. In Pakistan it has to go to a verified church organization that is closely monitored by the Islamic government of Pakistan. Sometimes locals or authorities charge a (jizya) which is basically a tax on any religion other than Islam to be allowed to live and operate. Governments say that this is not the case , however there are too many examples , that it does exist. They just cover it up by calling it a tax. Churches pay this fee out of fear and hope it will prevent any future problems. They will take what they want from your donation and what is left is what will go to your cause. So if you donate 100 dollars to a known charity, the cause you are donating to might only receive 20 dollars. This is why it is better to give directly to the people who have their feet on the ground in those communities and who will receive your total donations and prayers. Thanks to the GoFundMe app, there are two ways to do this. You can donate directly here on GoFundMe and I will personally send notifications of your total sent and your total received to this specific Christian community in Pakistan. That is the easiest way. The other way is for you to contact them in Pakistan directly, and you can send to them via Western Union directly. Just send an email and I will send you the contact information for the church members in Pakistan. I understand sometimes Americans want to only work with other Americans, and that is why I am offering myself as a contact for you to use in order to give to the church's cause. Anyone can text me directly, I thank you for your time in reading this. Best wishes for you, and God bless.
