My name is Alexanne Stone and Emily is my goddaughter. On Emily's 16th birthday, December 11, 2025, she decided to leave this world. Emily leaves behind her brother, Daniel, sister, Tatiana, and another sister, Any. The family lives in Cuenca, Ecuador.

Even under the hard work of Emily's single mother, Alexandra "Flaca" Curipoma, whose photo you can see in the collection, they are financially unable to pay for any of the costs for Emily's funeral. Additionally, the family is struck with such deep and painful grief that I'm not sure when Alexandra will be able to return to work.

At the same time, the one-room brick building (with a corrugated roof) where they live is scheduled to be demolished, and the family has to move to another place and pay for those expenses.

I don't say this to embarrass the family, but to sincerely ask for your help with getting them settled for a decent period of time while they all recover from this unexpected and deeply shattering experience.
