Helping Emily with her Ever After

Hey! We’re Jess and Megan, two of Emily’s oldest friends. On Sunday, May 8, Emily suffered a stroke while at work. For the time being, she is in treatment working to regain her full mobility and taking the initial steps toward healing. Emily has always been the first person to step up and lend a word of encouragement, helping hand, or any favor she can to someone in need. It is our turn to show up for Emily!

 

To know Em is to know her honesty, passion, resilience, and drive. These characteristics are incomparable, and have helped her fight as hard as she needs to in any situation – this fight will be no exception.

 

Unfortunately, Emily will need to take significant time off from both of her jobs, as life comes to a pause. This will cause financial burden, and since Emily would never ask for this help herself, we have decided to start a GoFundMe in her honor! Our goal is to help provide some relief for her medical, travel, and living expenses, allowing her to focus on her recovery.
