Helping Elle get well

Hello. My name is Amy. I am the proud single parent of a beautiful, talented, high spirited, scholastically gifted, altruistic, 16 year old daughter with EDS (Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome-for more information on the disability, please see link above). Her name is Elle.
As of late, I was a victim of identity theft via a credit card skimmer at a gas station, leaving my daughter and I penniless. (Due to sensitive information, I did not post the police report. However, if any anyone would like to privately verify the incident, please feel free contact me through Gofundme.com.)
Later that same evening, a car I had been verbally given permission to drive for the last 4.5 years was taken back with no notice from its original owner. That has left us with no vehicle. This affects my job, being able to go to the grocery store, almost everything. Most importantly, it affects my daughter and her health.
Elle has numerous weekly appointments from the coast of North Carolina to the triangle. This includes but is not limited to a pediatric geneticist, a pediatric cardiologist, her general practitioner, and physical therapy, etc
Physical Therapy is something Elle will have to do for the rest of her life, as all EDS patients do.
If anyone knows of an organization that donates cars, someone who has an extra vehicle they aren’t sure what to do with, or are fortunate enough to purchase a new car and would be open to allowing me to make payments on the vehicle they were going to initially trade, that would be so helpful and priceless. If you are moved to do so, please email me, so I may begin to inquire.
I would like to thank all of you who have read this far for being compassionate enough to read and care about my daughter and I’s story.
This is a place I have been fortunate not to be in before. It’s remarkably more frightening than I ever imagined. Especially since I’m a very private person and asking for help makes me feel extremely uneasy. However, those fears go away when my daughter’s health is at stake.
Our situation is dire, as we live in a small town that doesn’t offer public transportation. Thank you for the kindness you showed by clicking on our story.
If you are moved to donate, you deserve to know exactly where the money is going.
First: Food
Second: The down payment on an economical, affordable vehicle.
Third: My daughter’s medical bills, gas, and insurance,
Again, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to read our story.
I would also like to ask for prayers for those of you who are moved to do so. May God bless each and every one of you.
