My father Eduardo Valencia, passed on Wednesday March 13th 2026. Since late 2025 he’s been battling with cirrhosis. A fatal condition that affects the liver.

For some time, he was able to stabilize it with medication, but it was only prolonging the inevitable. He’s been in and out of the hospital throughout 2025-2026. Over the course of April-May, his health has taken a steep decline. Accumulation of fluid in the lungs and throughout the body, pneumonia, diabetes, and high blood pressure, have made it impossible for the doctors to perform surgeries to keep him alive.

My mom has been by his side through it all. Being the sole caretaker, She has been unable to go back to work and home to get any rest, so she is drastically low on funds and at risk of losing her job, on top of the stress, pain and grief that she’s experiencing of losing the love of her life. We have been doing our best to keep her afloat but it has been difficult.

On Mother’s Day we got the news that the medication has stopped working and my dad is too weak and unable to keep on fighting. So it’s only a matter of time before my dad takes his last breath.

We are fundraising money to keep my mom afloat as she goes through this turbulent time in her life. As well as paying for the hospital bills and funeral expenses. Any money we make will be sent directly to her, Anything helps. Thank you so much for your time.

Mi padre Eduardo Valencia está en las últimas etapas de la vida mientras escribo este mensaje. Desde finales de 2025 ha estado luchando con cirrosis. Una condición mortal que afecta al hígado.

Durante algún tiempo, pudo estabilizarlo con medicación, pero sólo prolongó lo inevitable. Ha estado dentro y fuera del hospital durante el 2025-2026. Durante el período de abril a mayo, su salud ha sufrido un fuerte descenso. La acumulación de líquido en los pulmones y en todo el cuerpo, neumonía, diabetes y presión arterial alta, ha hecho imposible que los médicos realicen cirugías mantenerlo vivo.

Mi madre ha estado a su lado a través de todo. Siendo la única cuidadora, no ha podido volver al trabajo y a casa para descansar, por lo que está drásticamente baja en fondos y en riesgo de perder su trabajo, además del estrés, el dolor y el dolor que experimenta de perder el amor de su vida.

Hemos estado haciendo todo lo posible para mantenerla a flote pero ha sido difícil. En el Día de la Madre recibimos la noticia de que la medicación ha dejado de funcionar y mi padre es demasiado débil y incapaz de seguir luchando. Así que es sólo cuestión de tiempo antes de que mi padre tome su último aliento.

Estamos recaudando dinero para mantener a mi madre a flote mientras pasa por este momento turbulento en su vida. Además de pagar las cuentas del hospital y los gastos de funeral. Cualquier dinero que ganemos será enviado directamente a ella, cualquier cosa ayuda. Muchas gracias por su tiempo.
