Hey everyone, I am going through one of the most difficult situations I've ever faced in my life, I will say that it isn't like me to ask for help but I have no other options. My horse Drax has been hospitalized at UGA with acute colitis (and now influenza) for a week now, my personal savings are at this point almost completely depleted (Cost has been 1000 or more every day). There has been some improvement in his condition but he is continuing to spike very high fevers, the doctors need to try other therapy options to get the fevers under control. They expect he will need more time to respond/recover from everything he's been going through. The decision to move forward with treatment currently 100% depends on finances. I have gone down every avenue I can to try and avoid making a fundraiser, I don't want his life to end because I ran out of money. I need to know that I tried everything I could for him. He is only 3.5 years old and he is everything to me. Please share this and if you can donate anything to help Drax and I fight through this it will be greatly appreciated.
