A longtime friend to many of us, Donny Kirkland is being treated for stage 4 prostate cancer and its side effects.  He needs help. I’ve known Donnie for nearly 40 years and he’s been an all-around good and close friend to many of us.


Here is Donny, in his own words, explaining his situation.


It's funny,  before I got sick I could walk a mile have coffee and walk home and get on with my day. Now I walk a mile and a mile back and I have to take a nap for 2 hours.

I need money for my medical bills and supplies.  My herbs help to counter the cancer and the effects of the chemotherapy. I won't be getting any food stamps for a while, so feeding myself is hard.  I have no savings. Anything that comes up, I have to pay for out of pocket and my pockets are almost empty. It’s getting harder and harder
