I am Bonnie Masi (living in WA state) and my goal is to raise funds to help my mom, Donna Masi, in NH.
Mom spent most of June in the hospital with a failed pacemaker and systemic infection. She's feeling very well again but needs more support and supervision. Her wish was to get into Golden Crest assisted living in Franklin and a room amazingly became available in 2 weeks rather than months off. (I was with mom 7/25-8/13 doing medical appointments/procedures and applying to Golden Crest.) We applied for a special V.A. benefit (Aid and Attendance) which will give her enough for the monthly fees, but it will take months for that to be processed. There's also a one-time "move in fee" of $4472 on top of the monthly fee that we need now to get her started. Mom, generously gave to all those friends and family in need over the past 3-5 years leaving her with very little for her own needs.
I'll be back in NH 9/14-9/20 to get her moved into her new assisted living studio apt. with her 3 cats. Sandy is donating her truck and time to help me with the move and 4 others have already volunteered donations due to the need for mom to be in a healthier, happier and safer place at this stage in her life (she'll be 91 on 10/19/2019 and is very proud of that).
Golden Crest is a lovely place and mom can't wait to socialize and make new friends. We need your help to make this happen and are so grateful for any donations!
