Let's help Dog live his best life.

As some of you know, on December 9 Rex aka "Dog" began collapsing. The day prior he seemed completely fine. Kristene took him to the vet that very same day. The vet couldn't pin-point exactly what was wrong but his blood sugar was at 45 so he needed to begin steroid treatments and frequent meals to monitor his blood sugar levels.
The very next day he took a turn for the worse. Dog could not walk, stand or jump into the car. His body was experiencing a form of paralysis. Kristene was terrified and rushed him to the vet.
He was admitted into the ICU where he was diagnosed with Insulinoma. This means that he had a tumor in his pancreas which was secreting too much insulin. The doctors explained that if Dog had surgery, he would be able to live a long and healthy life. So, as any dog mom would, Kristene moved forward with the surgery. The surgery itself went well but there are now complications looming over their home.
With the veteranarian bill alone, she has paid about 8,500. That is a LOT of money. Dog will need medication, more time with the doctors and a very regimented diet in order to make a full recovery. This fund is to help Kristene continue to give Dog the care that will allow him to live a long and happy life. Every little donation will be put towards the current vet bill as well as the check ups and medications to come. Any little bit counts.
As a dog mom myself, I know that Dog is not just a dog; he's family. He's her best friend. So, I want to ease some of the financial burden in hopes that it eases some of the emotional trauma that this situation has caused.
Thank you in advance.
