On Monday, December 21st, Angelina's Ristorante and Revival Kitchen & Bar incurred flooding damage that has resulted in the temporary closing of both restaurants leaving 20 employees without a source of income.
Chef Owners Corey Fletcher (Revival Kitchen & Bar) and Rick Dennison (Angelina's Ristorante) have led their teams with resilience and ingenuity throughout 2020, in many ways being forced to reinvent the way they do business in the midst of the Global Pandemic. Unabated by the changing landscape that COVID-19 has presented to their business models both men have faced adversity with optimism for the future. The flooding damage this week has presented both business owners with a whole new set of circumstances that must be sorted as their restaurants are cleaned out and rebuilt.
Facing these challenges with Rick & Corey are the 21 individuals their small businesses collectively employ. Losing income the week of Christmas is a new reality that each staff member finds themselves in.
This GoFundMe is to provide some financial support to the employees of Angelina's and Revival to help offset their loss of income over the coming weeks as each restaurant is restored and rebuilt.
We all have our stories of how the pandemic has impacted our lives this year.
I believe a key to the strength of our culture is realized when we choose to look beyond our own struggles to help lift up those around us. Your donation of any size is greatly appreciated.
