Helping Dianna
Donation protected
Hi all! First off thank you for taking the time to read this and possibly helping.
My Niece Dianna Derigo became ill in March, not feeling well, very tired and started throwing up. Of course our first reaction was thinking …. Covid? She was eventually tested and came back with a negative result, we then thought possibly the flu or maybe just a bad stomach bug. On April 14th when she was not better and advice from her Mom, she went to the Emergency room. They immediately did some testing and admitted her due to high levels of calcium. After preliminary testing they found numerous tumors in her Liver and Lungs. A Liver Biopsy was done and yesterday we got the results Cholangiocarcinoma or (Bile Duct Cancer) It is a very rare and aggressive Cancer. She will have to travel to Houston Texas for treatment at MD Anderson Hospital. Her treatment, travel, and Lodging will be quite expensive and will have to be there for probably at least 4 months.
I am reaching out and asking if you all could come together and help support my Niece, during this very tough and difficult time? Any donations and prayers are greatly appreciated.
I would also like you to know a little bit about Dianna, so you know who you’re helping. Dianna just turned 27, she just received her Doctorate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and was to start her lifelong dream of working in Crisis situations with Children. She has a wonderful Boyfriend that Loves and Supports her. She is a Daughter, Granddaughter, Sister, Niece, Cousin and a friend to all she meets. She has the kindest soul, a Beautiful smile, Funny, Smart, and truly a treasure to us all. Dianna’s Motto has always been and always will be …. “Be The Change You Wish to See In The World”! She has led through example and we all just couldn’t be any prouder of her!!!
God Bless and thank you again for all you help and Continued support!!
