Two years ago my daughter was rushed into an emergency delivery of her second daughter due to the discovery of a large tumor on her ovary. Her ovary and fallopian tube were both removed. This was three weeks prior to her due date. The baby was in ICU for one week, but is doing well now. The medical bills were over $6,000. This was doable, but a little over a year later my daughter's husband began having seizures. He was diagnosed with epilepsy and has accrued over $60,000 in medical bills. My daughter has a good job which has kept her from being approved for any assistance. They own a house, but have been unable to make payments over the last several months. Today, one of their cars was repossessed for lack of payment and the mortgage company is threatening to take their house away. I have given them everything I have, but it is still not enough.
