Hi, my name is Kim Jacob, I started this fundraiser for my aunt Debbie Gilden.

Due to complications from a spider bite and diabetes, my aunt lost her foot on March 3rd during emergency surgery. Shortly after the bite she developed a wound that would not heal. Unfortunately, they couldn’t save her foot.

My aunt is always there for her friends and family and full of positive energy and kindness. It breaks my heart to see her struggling, both mentally & financially. She has been through so much for someone her age. She suffered a heart attack last summer and had bypass surgery along with a valve repair. Throughout all of this she never asked for help or assistance.

I can only imagine the challenges she will

face over the next several months. Her husband Dwayne has had to take off a lot of work and now they need to build ramps and buy medical supplies to help her while she heals. Your kindness would go a long way in helping her get a prosthetic and getting by until she learns to walk again. Thank you for reading and please keep her in your prayers.
