Since my mom Christine Yoder's diagnosis with pancreatic cancer in November, my brother David, his wife Angie, and their family have become mom's primary caregivers. It's a very hard thing to watch your mother suffer and be on call 24/7, but they accepted this role without a second thought.

Over the last 8 months, they have faced hundreds of hours and several thousand miles of travel to take mom to numerous hospitals and clinics in Jackson, Winchester, and Lexington. They quietly and with humility have absorbed the many unexpected food, travel, and vehicle maintenance costs caring for mom during her decline.

So many of you have offered prayers for my mom and family during this difficult time, and we appreciate that you love my mom. Many of you have also asked how you can help, and now I'm asking those of you who can and feel led to contribute to David's family to do so.

Although David and Angie are not the type to ask for financial support, I want to give our community the opportunity to show them our love in a tangible way. We appreciate you and all your love and care for my mom and our family.
