Helping David Kaffinetti

Hello - My name is Kathy and I am raising money to help my dear friend and bandmate, David Kaffinetti, who suffered a stroke in late May 2021. David is the real deal, who has touched many with his musicality, gentle nature and propensity for fun. He left England in the 1970's after reaching acclaim with the band Rare Bird, and may be best known for his role as Viv Savage in This is Spinal Tap. "Have a good time, all the time" was his signature line and aptly describes his philosophy on life. David turned 75 in April and has been hanging in there despite the pandemic and its squeeze on his ability to make a living. In May 2021, he suffered a stroke which has made life even more difficult, especially with other health issues he is dealing with (heart, RA, age-related maladies) . I would like to raise money to help pay for David's living expenses as he makes the long journey back, hopefully, to where he was before. I am hoping the funds will enable David to stay in the US, as it would be unfathomable if we were to lose him in any way. Thank you for any help you can give.
