Dave has fallen into some tough times and could use our help.
Before I tell you about his recent medical issues, I would like to first tell you about a recent life change that Dave has made. If you have talked to Dave much you may know this, but many friends who haven't talked to Dave lately wouldn't know, but Dave adopted his baby nephew over the past year. He did not have to take on this large task of raising a newborn, but the need was there and he stepped up to the plate. He did so quietly and without asking anyone for help. This is a very honorable thing to do and his son is lucky to have him.
On to the reason for this Go Fund Me page. Last week Dave was checked into the ICU. Long story short, he has kidney failure. Everything has happened so fast and this prognosis could be life altering for Dave, potentially needing dialysis every other day until he gets a kidney transplant.
While Dave is doing as well as possible and in good spirits, he cannot work right now. He is currently providing for his son and mom who both live with him. We have created this Go Fund Me to help ease some of the financial burdens that have fallen on Dave.
Dave has always been the friend to be there for us, now it's our turn to be there for Dave.
