On Friday April 27th Darlene attended a wedding.  While at the wedding she was overcome with a massive headache and went outside for fresh air.  When she was later located she didn’t look right.  An ambulance was called and she was rushed to the hospital where she underwent extensive brain surgery that lasted hours.  She had bleeding on the brain and they found 2 aneurysms. They were only able to remove 1 of the 2 aneurysms at that time. After further testing Darlene still had bleeding on her brain, she had DISSECTION of the CAROTID ARTERY.  The blood was not coming from the 1st or 2nd aneurysm.  On April 30th she underwent a 2nd extensive surgery that also lasted for hours to remove the 2nd aneurysm and correct the carotid artery. 

She is in ICU in critical but stable condition. All though she is improving and the prognosis is much better she’s not out of the woods by no means. It’s too early to tell if she’ll recover fully and be able to return to work. This is going to be a very long road ahead. With no income and medical bills coming I don’t know how she’s going to do it.  Please let’s try to take some pressure off her and donate to help her out until hopefully she can go back to work.  Any amount is greatly appreciated.
