Hi everyone, my name is Danielle Popp.

I never thought I would be in a predicament like this, but within the past two months my life has completely just been taking negative turn after negative turn.

Last month I fell and broke my arm, which forced me to take 5 weeks off of work, and am currently partially paralyzed in my left arm. I made it through with the money I had worked to save since moving from NY to CA, except now my poor dog who means everything to me got sick and I am seriously financially struggling.

My arm is supposed to be healing for 6-8 weeks, however I am now back to work (with a broken arm) because I simply cannot afford to not work anymore. It has been difficult as I am a bartender, but it is what I need to do. Surgery was an option, but I cannot afford to be out of work for another six weeks. I am truly terrified and embarrassed to admit that I am financially struggling. I have never been one to ask for help, but I truly feel helpless and don’t know what else to do.

I plan on getting another job, but it has been hard to do while having my arm the way it is. Again, I am embarrassed to even be posting this.
