Hi all! If you’ve found this page, chances are you’re one of the many people who are lucky to have Dan in their lives. As some of you may know, Dan’s cat George passed away unexpectedly last week. If you had the pleasure of knowing George, you’d know what a sweet and silly cat he was. Dan and George shared a really special bond, and Dan did everything he possibly could to save George. If you've ever had a pet that needed life-saving medical care, then you know quickly the medical costs add up.

Maybe you know Dan from high school track, run club, or Valley Forge National Park. Maybe Dan has hand-sewn you a custom, era-appropriate replica uniform. Regardless of how you know Dan, we can all agree on one thing: Dan is an extraordinary person who always (and I mean always) shows up for the people in his life.

Now we have a chance to show up for Dan. Dan would never ask for help of any kind himself. Knowing him, he’d say there are more deserving people. But we know there is no one more deserving than Dan. While nothing can ease the heartbreak of losing a beloved pet, my hope is that this GoFundMe can provide some financial relief and put a small dent into Dan's unexpected veterinary bills during an otherwise difficult time.
