Last week, Dan Powers suffered another major stroke. As many of you know, this is his second one. He is at Cape Cod Hospital and is currently in stable condition. But his road will be painful...it will be long...and it may be forever. Dan is without a doubt the most loving person I have ever met. He embodies all of life’s most beautiful characteristics...humble, generous, spiritual, loving and deeply empathetic. I have never met a man more in love with his family...never. His wife and his kids are his entire world. And tonight Dan, Amanda, Lily and James need help. They need help from close friends, casual acquaintances and strangers. We all have the need to help one another...it’s what makes us human. We want to live by each other’s happiness, not by each other’s misery. And today, you can help...you can make a difference to a family who’s heart, while still beating, is aching terribly. Let’s show this family what living in a small town means. Let’s show them that if one of us has a problem, all of us will come together. Please give them something that they need now more then ever...hope. And share this page.
