I am self-employed doing DoorDash at the moment and limited on funds. I have a maltipoo named Daisy she is 5 years old and needs cataract surgery in both eyes. I started this journey with selling my belongings and collectibles that I’ve gathered over the years and was encouraged to start a GoFundMe. Since time is of the essence with her condition the sooner she gets the surgery the better.

I am in California and they want to charge 9-12 thousand dollars for surgery. I did research and found an ophthalmologist in Monterrey, Mexico who will do it for a fraction. With travel costs included I’m looking at half the cost. Anything will help and I am currently selling any valuable item I have.

Daisy is healthy and she used to be very happy. The cataract has blinded her but she’s still at a stage where it can be treated according to the doctor but I can’t wait much longer. Seeing her so depressed and laying down everywhere no longer running really makes me sad. The day I have enough to treat her condition will be a very big win for me and my family. I am very blessed just down on my luck right now at a time when my dog needs me. Anything helps and you can also buy from my eBay.
