Helping Dad's Transition After Stroke

Hello! As many of my friends and family know, my dad had his stroke on May 31st and he’s now in rehabilitation. I have quit my job to come back to Colorado to be his caregiver. I don’t ask for much but with him getting out of rehabilitation on July 13th, money is slim. Things on his property aren’t selling like I thought they would.

His insurance will only cover one “major” purchase of medical equipment every 3 years, a major purchase being a walker. I am only asking for some help because I need to get medical equipment before he gets home! I have to make the house wheelchair accessible and set him up in the house. I have been looking at Facebook marketplace and the second-hand store up in Loveland for equipment but it’s still so expensive and I’m trying to pay my bills plus my dad’s.

I just need some help with this and if he ever progresses to not needing the equipment, I will donate it to the VA. Thank you for reading and God bless.
