Support During Layoff

As most of you may know, after 8 years of employment with my previous company, I was unexpectedly laid off last November which has temporarily put me in a difficult financial position.

While I am actively applying for new opportunities and working through the unemployment benefits process, there is unfortunately a gap before those benefits begin (I have been in limbo for the past month and a half now).

Anyone who knows me, knows I am typically the one to help others and my pride often keeps me from asking for help myself. I have fought myself on even presenting this option for so long, but unfortunately I dont have many options left at this time but to lean on others.

During this transition, I am seeking a little support to help cover essential expenses, particularly my rent for the month of March.

My goal is simply to stay afloat while I focus on securing my next role and getting back on my feet. I have also reached out to local assistance/hardship agencies, churches, etc as well.

Any contribution—no matter the amount—would make a meaningful difference during this challenging time.
