Beach Clean-up Fundraiser for Costa Rica

Hi, my name is Luella, I am 14 years old and have been given an amazing opportunity to have an impact on Costa Rica. This beautiful country is home to 6% of the world's biodiversity but is under threat by humans. I have been given the opportunity to go there with my school and Camps International to help with conservation efforts and make a real difference, but I need to raise the funds to get me there!

As well as helping with community and school projects in Costa Rica, I'll be participating in wildlife and marine conservation projects such as turtle monitoring, educational workshops and beach clean-ups.

We have some litter-filled beaches here in the UK too, so this weekend I'll be doing a big beach clean-up in Dorset to help raise money for my trip so I can make a more important impact on beaches in Costa Rica.

I will try and collect as much rubbish as I can so beachgoers and animals can enjoy clean beaches and marine life will be protected. I would be grateful for any support. Every donation, big or small, will help make a difference. Thank you!
