Helping Cody with upcoming bills and expenses

Donation protected
Hi my name is Amanda. I am fundraising for Cody to help with upcoming bills. On December 4th Cody went to the ER because he couldn't breathe. They gave him meds and an oximeter and told him to come back if his oxygen level dropped. He had tested positive for covid. By the next night on December 5th his oxygen had dropped down to 58 and his son brought him back in to the ER where they admitted him. He learned that he was developing covid pneumonia. He stayed for 9 days in the hospital. It was touch and go for awhile and they talked about if he did not improve he may need to be put on a vent. But he improved than was released on oxygen on December 13th, 2021. He had to miss the birth of his newborn daughter on December 10th and it was extremely hard on him. December 16th he had a check up. The doctor that he saw did not check his lungs but did an ultrasound on his legs to check for blood clots and they were missed. He was still feeling the affects of covid at that time and was extremely tired and lethargic. The doctor told him to do his lung exercises and that he shouldn't need any further appointments. On December 18th Cody started having difficulty walking and his legs were causing him so much pain he was brought to tears. Cody got to meet his new daughter on December 23rd for the 1st time despite not feeling well. On December 26th Cody noticed his legs and ankles swelling along with the severe pain. On Tuesday December 28th his legs were still causing issues and the swelling was not improving. And his breath was getting hard to catch despite the oxygen. His oxygen was dipping down into the mid 80s again so he called the nurse online and she advised him to go to the ER to be seen. They did the test to check for blood clots and a CT scan of his legs and lungs. On December 28th he was readmitted to the hospital. He learned that his levels are the highest they have ever seen on someone. He was told his lungs are very damaged and they are not sure if he will ever make it off of oxygen. And although the covid pneumonia is improving his lungs are completely full of blood clots and he has some blood clots in his legs also which is the cause of the swelling. The xrays showed his lungs are completely white which is a sign of the massive amount of blood clots. As of December 31st he is still in the hospital. He is on blood thinners the dissolve the clots and his oxygen has gone from 4 litres to 9 litres and even after 3 days of meds he is still not tolerating being turned down. He has been unable to work since December 4th and it's caused alot of financial strain for his bills. He is in jeopardy of losing his car among other things.
