Coco fell from the 3rd story balcony at my apartment and broke his leg severely. It was a spiral break of the tibia and fibula, and the wound was unlikely to heal with a cast. Our most viable options were surgery or amputation. I wish I could do the surgery, but we have decided to amputate due to recovery time, future pain management, and financial stress. I really just need a bit of help with the bills that this situation has created. I will post the vet bills in a google doc for y'all to see. I have some of the x-rays to share if anyone is curious. Hes 3 years old and the vet says he'll be able to bounce back, but I'm 23 and my bank account is definitely not bouncing back from this any time soon.
