Coach Joe is one of the most humble and one of the strongest people that I’ve ever met. He doesn’t back down from a challenge and is always ready to step in to help when needed. In early December, in a completely unexpected and scary turn of events, Joe suffered from a dissected artery which led to two strokes. The good news is he is doing better than anyone could expect! The bad news is, he has a ton of hospital bills and isn’t able to work nearly as much as he was before!
We all know how hard it is to dial back and take the time to heal when we truly need to, and that is what he is having to do at this time. While he is able to coach a couple of days a week, his income is struggling to stay in front of the medical debt that insurance won’t cover. And he is struggling to hold himself back from doing more than he should, as a guy who has always worked hard to earn his way in life. Coach Joe is a young, fit guy at only 36, so there is nothing more that he wants to do than jump back on the horse full speed (although we’re making sure he strictly follows his doctors orders to take it slow).
Joe is a veteran, a father, a good friend, and has been our faithful head coach since we opened in 2015. He always puts our studio and our members first, and we want to take this time to put him first. We’re asking for your generosity and your support to help us keep our head coach on the best path to recovery that we can possibly give him.
