On Tuesday, August 13th, Harry Smith was involved in a side-by-side accident in Saskatchewan while vacationing with his wife, son and granddaughter.  Harry and his son were in the side-by-side when it left the road and rolled over. Harry was thrown out and was airlifted from the scene.

Harry is currently in stable but serious condition in Saskatoon. They are unable to do x-rays due to the pain he is in. They are also unsure when he can come back to Ontario. He is currently on a lot of pain medication and is being closely monitored by the doctors there.

For those of you that don't know Harry, he's not only been a father to his three children but a father figure to countless other children that have lived with he and his wife, Trisha, over the years. He's been a role model and coach to countless wrestlers as they've traveled all over Canada competing over the last 20 years with the Renfrew Amateur Wrestling Club, where he is now the Club Head Coach and Senior Head Coach. He's a loyal friend, a wonderful husband to Trish, a staunch supporter of everything his children want to do and a proud grandpa to his grandchildren. He's a fighter and will come through this with the love and support of his family and friends.

Harry's recovery will be extensive and with heavy financial costs associated, the first of which will be the cost of getting him and his family back home. We aren't sure of any of the costs right now, and have started small, but realize that the amount needed will likely be considerably higher than this! As we know more, we will adjust as needed... Every little bit of help at this point is greatly appreciated, and even if you can't help financially, even a share of this post will help!
