Hi everyone. I am calling on the generosity of our local community to help one of our residents in a time of need. I wanted to support Christine with her vet bill following a devastating attack on her and her 2 little dogs by an out of control larger dog in Willow Park Newton-le-Willows on 17/08/23. One of Christine’s dogs, 16 year old Rosie, was very badly injured and has had to have surgery as a result costing £678. There is likely to be more trips to the vets required and ongoing treatment as she has a drain in her neck. I don’t believe Christine should be left out of pocket due to an irresponsible dog owner and their dangerous dog. I would rather Christine can concentrate on her dogs, and her own, physical and emotional well-being without the added worry of the financial burden the attack has had. Please give anything you feel able to help cover these unexpected costs… x
