Help Christina Porreca recover from a stroke

Our mom, Christina, suffered a major stroke that left her paralyzed on the left side. She is slowly learning to walk again but is unlikely to be able to use her left arm anymore. She's in a rehabilitation hospital for the next three months to focus on rebuilding her strength and mobility.

With her current medical needs, she is no longer able to live where she does now. When she comes out of the hospital she’ll need help to set up a new living situation. She'll be starting from scratch with limited personal items, no furniture, plus the additional cost of ongoing therapy, specialized equipment and mobility aids. This a big, unexpected expense, and we can use any help we can get to make this transition as smooth as possible and give her the most independent life possible.
