Helping Christal

Donation protected
Christal Hayes was diagnosed with breast cancer on October 28th 2019.

I remember the first time I met Christal. She has this passion for life like I have never seen on a woman before. She has always worked so hard, with every odd stacked against her, to be a successful woman and Mom.

I think it’s important to tell you that Christal is a very strong and wonderful woman in recovery. She celebrates her 5 years sober in February! (You go girl!) I want to tell you that not only because it shows you, when I say the odds were stacked against her that they really were stacked but also because it will give me an opportunity to share with you how much she has given back to those who also struggle in their paths to find or keep recovery!

Christal lived in sober living with me. She was broken when I met her but determined not to stay that way. Her passion to get clean was remarkably inspiring! She wasn’t going to stop at anything. She has a beautiful daughter that she is head over heels for and she was going to make a great life for them both!

Not only has she stayed clean but I have had the pleasure of watching her throughout her journey and from day one she has selflessly given of her time to other women in recovery who want and feel inspired by her success. From donating her time at fundraisers to help put on sobriety events to standing in front of a packed house and sharing her story to sponsoring other women and teaching them a new way of life. She does it all! Smiling the whole time.

Christal has taken herself from almost death by addiction to this beautiful, clean, successful powerhouse of a testimony and now she sees to it that she carries the message. No one deserves cancer but My friend Christal is fighting this and she is going to win.

I tell her all the time (and she knows it) that God didn’t get her through all of her past and give her this new life in recovery for it to end like this! This is a part of her story and even though none of us understand it right now there is a purpose for her path. She is fighting and she will win.

Since October 28th Christal has had a double Mysectomy and has started her Chemo. Plus dozens and dozens of Doctors appointments. As you can imagine the medical bills are high and I am asking that you help me give to the most giving person I know! Help her fight! Any donation is helpful. If you cannot give that is okay. Prayers are accepted too! Always!

Thank You!!
