Hi, my name is Kelly and I had a dream to open a metaphysical shop that would carry local art and offer classes for some time. I finally had a space make itself available in January of 2021. I worked very hard and opened it by cashing in every penny I had inherited. It was holding its own for over a year and a half until I had the idea of throwing a big Halloween event last October. Well, that didn't go so well and I lost a big chunk of money and have been struggling ever since. I have close to 40 artists who have either not been paid or have only been paid some of what they are owed from art sales over the past several months. I am barely keeping my head above water - able to squeak out enough to pay rent each month, pay utilities, and cover insurance. I haven't had the funds to pay my artists or buy new stock for some time now and now I'm going to have a hard time paying my employees. My shop has become a destination for so many people across Southeastern Ohio. Many people feel they have found a place where they can feel safe and accepted no matter what they believe or what walk of life they are from. I don't want to lose my shop and the community I have worked so hard to establish. I hope you can help in any way you can.
