Hello Everyone, we are a non-profit charity organization helping schools. We plan to send some funds to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund.
Rebuilding Nepal's Schools After Catastrophic Floods
On August 26, 2026, catastrophic flash floods triggered by a glacial lake outburst tore through the Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts of Nepal, sweeping away bridges, homes, and roads along the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli river systems. More than 95 people are confirmed dead and hundreds remain missing, with rescue operations still underway.
Among the hardest-hit are Nepal's schools. Classrooms have been destroyed or buried in mud. Learning materials, furniture, and infrastructure that took years to build are gone. Children who survived this disaster now face an education system in ruins — at precisely the moment stability and routine matter most to their recovery.
The Education Global Senate (EGS) is mobilizing emergency relief to support the schools and students affected by this disaster. Funds raised will go directly toward rebuilding classrooms, replacing learning materials, and restoring safe spaces where children in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and surrounding districts can return to learning.
Education is often the first thing lost in a disaster and the last thing rebuilt — but it is one of the most powerful tools for helping a community recover. A functioning school gives children structure, safety, and hope in the aftermath of trauma. It gives families a reason to stay and rebuild rather than leave.
EGS is committed to ensuring that Nepal's youngest survivors don't lose their futures along with their classrooms. With your support, we can help schools reopen their doors and give students a path forward.
Please donate today. Help us rebuild not just buildings, but the futures of Nepal's children.
