Helping Charlotte Continue Her Healing Journey

My dear friends and family,

Many of you may know my little sister Charlotte - she’s an independent spirit who loves gallivanting across the world, making a living on her own terms wherever she goes. She lives in Hong Kong with her partner Leslie.

Last September, Charlotte went through a major surgery to remove a large tumor from her abdomen. There were unexpected complications during the procedure, and she needed three surgeons to help handle the heavy bleeding. The ordeal took a toll on her body, and a massive 5-liter blood transfusion was needed for her condition to stabilize. Her recovery was an uphill climb, to say the least.

However, after the surgery, she was diagnosed with Stage 2 Ovarian Cancer – a rare and aggressive type called Ovarian Carcinosarcoma.

Since this cancer type is not common, Charlotte needs to go through specialized targeted cancer therapy. The good news is that she has already started her treatment and is on her way to recovery.

Up until now, her surgery and treatment have been paid for with her hard-earned savings. But since treatment is expected to last for several more months, the costs are rising.

She continues to do her best to heal, and has already started working to pay for her cancer treatment (despite her major surgery a few months ago). To help her take more time and energy to heal, we thought we could reach out to our friends and family to see if anyone would be willing to help. Any funds raised will go directly to her medical treatments and therapies.

Any contribution, whether it is a dollar amount, a prayer or even just some words of encouragement, would help her tremendously.
