Support Chandra & Ricky after losing Rick
Three days after going back to work, Richard Oldson .. Roo, Roo Dog to most of us is gone.
A tragic fall from an oil rig took his life. Thee should have been safety measures in place. Unfortunately, there wasn't.
Rick was 35 years young with his whole life ahead.
He worked really hard. Everything he did was for Chandra & Ricky.
They had a plan; more kids, a piece of land out in the country with goats, chickens, a full little farm. Not just talk, he was building it. He built a beautiful family and a life he was proud of, with the goal of a larger family.
Chandra is a stay at home mama to a 1 year old. Now she's grieving her husband while trying to raise Ricky on her own, where they will live. How is she supposed to do all of this without the person who was supposed to be there for all of it.
This isn't about anything extra. This is about giving her time.
Time to breathe, to grieve, to not have to immediately jump into survival mode and make decisions no one should have to make fast.
The funds will go directly to Chandra and Ricky - for funeral costs, living expenses, stability while everything feels like its falling apart.
If you knew Rick, you know what kind of person he was. If you didn't, just know that his family was everything to him.
